Calvrix is engineered the way the platform is engineered. Every component carries load. Every decision is testable. The discipline is the whole point.
The name
Calvrix.
Two syllables. CAL-vrix. Stress on the first. An invented compound, deliberately constructed.
The calculation root.
Latin calx: the root of calculate and calibrate. Originally the small stone on a Roman counting board, the unit by which an accountant reconciled. Also the lime base that held masonry up. Both meanings, to calculate and to be the foundation, read at the same time.
The kinetic bridge.
Phonetic load-bearing. Same load-bearing position as in Nvidia, Verizon, Volvo, Veritas. Soft bridges (L, M, N) would have made the name passive. V is where the name's centre of gravity sits when spoken.
The systems suffix.
Latin -rix, sovereign suffix. Vercingetorix wore it. In modern technology naming the same suffix has migrated to systems-scale words: Matrix, Helix, Citrix. The reading shifts from one who leads to the system that holds the field.
The mark
The registration cross-hair.

A precision registration mark. Five rectangular elements on a 64×64 grid. Every element snaps to whole pixels. No curves, no gradients, no 3D, no decoration. The mark does not pretend to be a letter C.
Engineering instrument.
The universal precision-instrument symbol used in print, surveying, microscopy, machine vision. The system aligning itself before it operates.
Mathematical / metrology.
The orange centre is the measured value. The four arms are inputs converging on the answer. The mark depicts the act of measurement itself.
Computational / system cross-section.
Four directional axes converging on a single output. The visual grammar of a system schematic.
The 4-unit gap between arms and centre is structural. Closing it produces a generic plus-sign and breaks the reading. The gap is the discipline.
